DCMEA Scholarships 2024

2024 Scholarship Applications are now closed. Thank you to all that applied. We will reach out directly. 

All student applications must be completed on the Google Survey below. Teachers must also fill out their recommendation on the Teacher Recommendation Survey Both surveys are linked at the bottom of this page.

Application Due Date: Monday, May 20, 2024

Notification of Scholarship Recipient(s): By Friday, June 14, 2024

Scholarship Awards:
We will be awarding up to $500 to scholarship recipients for the 2023-2024 school year. All applicants must be majoring in music or the arts when entering their freshman year of college.

In order to be eligible:

1. Student must be a graduating senior
2. Student must attend a school participating in DCMEA
3. Student has participated in at least one DCMEA event and has fully satisfied all participation contract requirements (students who have not participated in DCMEA Elementary All-County, DCMEA Junior High All-County, or DCMEA Jazz festival are ineligible)
4. Student must be an active participant and in good academic standing with their school and music program.

If a college acceptance letter is not yet available, one will need to be provided prior to receiving this scholarship.
