2026 Junior High Festival
Grades 7-9 @ Franklin D. Roosevelt High School (Hyde Park CSD) Friday, January 30 ~ 1:00pm - 6:00pm Saturday, January 31 ~ 9:00am - Concert Concert Times: Chorus - 2:00pm Band & Orchestra - 3:30pm SNOW DATES Friday, February 6th & Saturday, February 7th If the Friday rehearsal is canceled due to inclement weather, the festival will be held in its entirety on the “snow date” weekend. If Friday rehearsal takes place, but Saturday is canceled, we will use the "snow date" Saturday only. Students must be able to participate for the entire festival, including snow dates. |

- Please note that each performing ensemble (Concert Band, Mixed Chorus, Orchestra) is limited.
- Students are selected based on the following criteria:
- For Chorus: recorded audition and teacher recommendation
- For Band and Orchestra: NYSSMA score, teacher recommendation, and proficiency lists.
- For Chorus: recorded audition and teacher recommendation
- Student Registration Fee: $16
- Concert Tickets: $8 each
- Festival T-Shirts: $15 (optional purchase)
